EU DigiTOUR called for experts and professionals in the field of AI / Big Data/ ARVR tech / IoT to join us as an External expert!

One of the ultimate goals for the EU DigiTOUR is to boost the capacity of the tourism SMEs towards digital transformation. Elevating the tourism industry with deep technologies such as AI, AR/VR, IoT, and Big Data!

The high-growth program will provide technical support activities which will bridge the gap experienced by European tourism SMEs in the use of digital techs. The program includes the following steps: incubation; acceleration, and scaling-up.  External Experts will initially support the screening and selection phase of candidates for the EU DigiTOUR high-growth program based on the stipulations of the application procedure. 

How to become an EU DigiTOUR External Expert:

You could become an External Expert if you fulfil the following requirements:

- You are available throughout the autumn season of 2022.

- You acquired professional experience in the field of digital technologies or any related industry or you have a deep understanding of tech startups including agile methods, digitalization aspects, and innovative technologies.

- You are familiar with the purpose and vision of the program, and have the awareness and experience in dealing with at least 1 of the 4 foundational digital technologies: AR/VR, Big Data, IoT and AI, in either research and/or practice.

- You have experience in coaching.

- You are fluent in English and are able to coach in it.

What would your role be as an External Expert?

The External Expert role is to review applications of deep-tech tourism startups and to provide support throughout the program (December 2022- July 2023). In order to identify the most promising businesses and ideas, External Experts will help to evaluate prospective candidates.

During the program, External Experts will draw on the experiences they have acquired throughout their lives and careers and communicate it to start-ups, assisting participants in the high-growth program to achieve a successful and steady development of their projects.
